राज कुमार – रतलाम/सैलाना- Bharat Adivasi Party: चुनावों में हार जीत तो लगी रहती है कई नेता हारते है और कई जीतते है, लेकिन जब कोई उम्मीदवार ऐसा जीत कर आता है जो कि अप्रत्याशित हो तो लगता है कि वाकई में आज भी लोकतंत्र जिंदा है, ऐसा ही एक अप्रत्याशित व्यक्ति चुनाव जीतकर आए है कमलेश्वर डोडीयार कमलेश्वर डोडियार मजदूर मां के बेटे है पिछले कई सालों से आदिवासियों के मुद्दे पर संघर्ष कर रहे हैं, जब चुनाव के नतीजे आ रहे थे, तब भी उनकी मां मजदूरी के लिए गई हुई थी, एक मजदूर परिवार का बेटा रतलाम की सैलाना सीट से अब विधायक (MLA) है, लोकतंत्र कि यह तस्वीर हम सबके लिए सुखद है.

मतगणना के दौरान जैसे-जैसे अंतर बढ़ता जा रहा था आसपास के लोग बेटे को जीत की बधाई देते रहे, पर मां सीताबाई मजदूरी में व्यस्त रहीं, यह घर है रतलाम जिले के सैलाना के नए विधायक का 33 साल के कमलेश्वर डोडियार ने भारत आदिवासी पार्टी से इस सीट पर जीत का परचम फहराकर सभी को चौकाया दिया है, कमलेश्वर डोडियार ने 4618 मतों से जीत हासिल की है, मजदूर परिवार में पले-बढ़े झोपड़ी से निकले है, बारिश में उस पर तिरपाल डालकर पानी से बचकर अपना काम चलाते है
कर्जा लेकर 12 लाख में लड़ा चुनाव – Bharat Adivasi Party के प्रथम विधायक
कहने सुनने और देखने में तो यह असम्भव सा लग रहा है लेकिन कमलेश्वर ने 12 लाख का कर्ज लेकर चुनाव लड़ा है, उन्होंने कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार हर्ष विजय गहलोत को 4618 वोट से मात दी, कमलेश्वर को 71,219 वोट मिले और हर्ष विजय को 66,601 वोट, भाजपा की संगीता चारेल तीसरे स्थान पर रहीं, इस सीट पर प्रदेश का सबसे अधिक मतदान (90.08%) हुआ था, यह वोट कमलेश्वर के लिए था।
